Why settle for just one gown when you could rock three stunning gowns at your Engagement Shoot. Dara, a bride-to-be, chose a stunning collection of gowns to celebrate her engagement. The photos were taken by Jessica Mangia, a destination wedding photographer who is a member of Fine Art Curation.
Jessica explains that Chris and Dara wanted an old-world backdrop for their story of love. Chris proposed to Dara under the stars, so Jessica explains that they were looking for a backdrop with natural elements. They also wanted the land and sky in conjunction. Malibu Rocky Oaks’ dramatic scenery with its rolling hills, blue skies and timeless feeling was ideal.
We decided to shoot their engagement as if they were out on a romantic date. They strolled and played by the infinity pools, shared a picnic, and gazed out into the stunning landscape. ”
Dara chose a cocktail dress with a bow back in ivory from Amsale and a blush ruffled gown by Marchesa. She also wore the BHLDN Written in the Stars gown which featured stunning beadwork. Her look was meant to be romantic and soft. Chris, meanwhile, wore a grey Bonobos for casual photos and a Dolce & Gabbana for the final grand finale on the helicopter pad.
