The mornings of weddings can be a flurry of activity and bustle. But what about a calmer and more reflective start? You’ll love having your closest friends around, but take some time for yourself to prepare for the busy day ahead.
There’s no rule that says you have to be surrounded by a bunch of bridesmaids and hair and makeup artists if you want some privacy before the big day. We’re sharing today some ideas from a Canadian wedding planner Nobl Event and fine art Curation.
Take a bath.
Nothing can relax the mind and body like a relaxing hot bath in a luxurious hotel bathroom. Fill the tub with bubbles and your favorite aromatherapy oil, then play your favorite music.
Take care of yourself
Before you apply makeup or get your hair done, indulge in a massage. Get rid of any stress in your life and live in the present moment.
Boudoir shoot
After your hair and makeup are finished, put on some special lingerie to have a boudoir session with your photographer. This is an excellent way to gain confidence in front the camera, without having a large wedding party present.
Re-read your vows
Celebrate your choice to marry the person you love and focus on the promises that you are making.
Share the love
Invite a friend or family member, or even your planner to the room. Share your feelings if you want to reaffirm your positive thoughts.
