A traditional Scottish wedding is unlike any other. If you are planning a wedding in Scotland or anywhere else in the world the sound of bagpipes will transport you to the highlands. This stunning photo shoot by Minnesota wedding stylist and fine art Curation members Rose & Laurel captures the splendor of Scottish springtime.
Sarah Bruxvoort founder and creative Director says: We were inspired by the Domenichino painting m Aiden with Unicorn.
The unicorn motif was repeated in our envelope liners vintage brass cake toppers and replica tapestries for formal portraits.
The draping garland inspired by Constance Spry’s great British floral design was full of deep purple hellebores and garden roses. No floral foam has been used to adhere to our sustainable practices. The wax flower crown we used for our photoshoot was an accidental find.
It came from Scotland a couple of weeks prior to the shoot.
The bridal gown has a simple clean line that is fit for a Princess. Justin Alexander made us custom sleeves to help keep the chill off in early spring. “The dramatic button and back detail of the sleeves created a contrast with the floral texturing throughout. “
